chetmumal to flores

well we only spent a day in chetumal decided to get the fuck outta there case there was absolutly nothing to do. we met an english couple that was heading to belize so we shared a cab with them to the border. crossed the border and got on a mini bus to corozal we were going to make the 3pm ferry to caye caulker but after waiting around for about 30 mins this guy came and told us that there was no boat today. so we all trudged together to try to find a place to stay. the next thing we know we have 3 different people in the street trying to get to stay in different places we saw one it was okay but not great and not cheap so we went this other fella and he took us to his sisters guesthouse and it was very nice and very clean so after we all doppped off our bags we really needed a drink so we went to the bar and had a few and got harrased by local.. after he left we went for dinner and cheap drinks at very cool restaurant/nightclub if u around there sk for mike the owner the place is not hard to find cause its the biggest bar in corozal. well after that we crashed and woke up at 630 to try to catch the 7am ferry but of corozal but of coarse that would be to easy cause it turns out the ferry arent going to be working for a week so we hoofed it to the bus station and got on a school bus alll the way to belize city. when we got to the bus station we caught a quick cab to the water taxi and was on caye caulker by 2pm. we booked a room a tinas hostel right on the beach. caye caulker is an amazing place. time stood still for threee day as we did alot of nothing just swimming drinking and eating. we also met up with allen and emma again there and might meet up with them in costa rica later. we are now in flores waiting to go to tikal to see the mayan ruins. well thats all for now. next antigua
