............since i posted! Very busy preparing for official opening, and we're FULL over Christmas and New Year, feeling the pressure now!

We've also had lots of friends visiting in the last few months so what with that plus building and staff training, home-schooling, paperwork, shopping trips to Dar, a trip to the UK to see my Dad who's been very ill plus numerous other exceterers there hasn't been much time for blogging!

All well and happy though, albeit broke! We need bookings for after the New Year (got some for next August), thankfully we have no bank loans to service!

Hi guys been trawling the net and following your progress,looks great. Wanted to put a comment on trip advisor about the place but not sure if they would count it as being biased and penalise you. Get in touch! For everyone else who reads this, they have done brilliant and the place is fantastic, still unspoilt walk a 100M either direction and you would think your the only person on the island. Brian

Mafia Island is beautiful .. The most amazing place in earth.. And Ras Mbizi is ever better! It has everything that a person wants. People that work there are amazing .. very nice! If a person wants to visit a "wild" place with beach this is the better one! Maria
