We have seen a slight improvement in the weather, but still not beach weather so we have been out and about in Rio! We went downtown Rio on Tuesday up into Lapa, after wandering aimlessly we decided to go to the Museum of Modern Art, which was pretty darn good. Mr Underwood's fave part of the museum was the ball pool, it wasn't a kids play area, it was a piece of art, but it was really good! Mr Knight's was Yoko Ono's Wishing Tree, which i guess was big banzi trees in which individuals place a wish! But unfortunately we cant tell you our wishes on Yoko's orders!! Mr Rowe's was a guy who used visual effects in everyday objetcs (this one is much too hard to describe).

Today we have been up Corcovado to see Santos Christos, which was spectacular! We decided to go against the guidebooks and make our own way up through Santa Teresa, which was a right cock up as we ended up wandering through the edge of a favela and then waited in the middle of nowhere for the cable car up. When we were finally picked up, we were looked at as if to say; "what the hell are you doing here!!" But all turned out for the best and views and Christ were amazing!

Love All
