After arriving in the middle of the night we woke very early Singapore time. We have had a great time, having a look around. On the first day we started with a river boat ride, which was great. We then went to soo many malls, making good use of the train system. We are like pros now!! It has been very hot, & we have been making good use of the hotel swimming pool. That night we headed off to the Night Safari at the Zoo. This turned out to be a bit of a mission. We thought that we'd save some money by not going with the tour guide. So instead of $28 and an hour later, it turned out to be 1 hour on the train, 20 minutes waiting for a bus, then a half hour bus trip. By now we are starting to feel a bit tired. We did have a great time at the Night Safari though. We saw a presentation, and then went on a tram ride of the park, seeing all the animals of the night. We didn't have much fun getting home though, we thought we'd be smarter and go a different way home.

But got off at the wrong place and couldn't catch another train as they were all finished for the night. So its now 11.30pm and we are feeling hot and tired, but decide to walk to the river. But we actually had a good night, even though it was a bit frustrating!! The next day we went and caught the cable car to Sentosa Island. The cable car starts at the top of a mountain and then heads over to the Island. It is very high!!! 15 stories in a lift to just get to the mid way point. Murray was more relaxed than I was. We had a look at Chinatown, which was really interesting, but the heat got the better of us, so we headed home for a swim.
