Barrier Reef

I have had 2 more great days out on the Barrier Reef, Shelly finished work on Weds so on Thurs we headed off on Compass Cruises to visit the reef, it cost us a pack of Bundi rum each such a cheap day. what a magical day it was a glass out so the reef and the fish looked amazing, 1st stop I was so pleased as soon as I got into the water I saw a turtle running for cover under the reef. their was lots of Nimos under thier scoles of black and white stripped fish. The coral was so colourfull everything I had expected to see at the reef.

2nd stop just got even better as me and Shelly headed off we swam out quite far looking for more turtles, but instead I got to see my first black tip shark it was about 3foot long, at first my heart was beatting like mad, but then I was just amazed at how gracfull and amzing it was. I also held a sea cucumber its brown and felt like a shammy leather. Then we got to hold a blue star coral it was great going with somebody who knows whats what. All in all it was brillant.
