different, different but same?

Arrived. In London.

To all the London crew: I will be in Barnes - Red Lion pub on wednesday...if you can make it...see you there.

To my friends and "family" abroad, all over the globe... I'll try and continue writing these touch-down diary notes + pictures from London to keep in touch...if you want. For now..just my first few days of getting back to London life.

I'm trying to morph and adjust to the speed of everything around me... I have been devouring food and breathing faster. A few days of trying to catch up with university administration and job search in London has showed me that it is going to be difficult to stop and slow down, or ensure "selfish" time. From his side, my nephew Nicholas has been keeping me involved and switched on to the loving side.

Talking of which...keep in touch...I will try this week to e-mail most of you individually and open the channel for the affection to flow out your way.

colouring the impact of change
...one thing about the existence of many decideous plants.... they are expolding with colour everywhere in autumn...even in London.

London overload
There seems to be so much of everything...noise, exhaust fumes, people, unecessary things, food, lights - different sensory information floods from everywhere...I've dived in trying not to be overrun by it...

I missed thukpa, chow mein and my Ladakhi family...this is closest I'm gonna get...

Tate crack
...a crack was deliberatly created on the Turbine hall of the Tate Gallery...and it is certainly drawing attention...It is meant to represent divisivness of all sorts; different cultures, within and without etc

Spidered
Loved the illusion of the great mamma spider overhanging over St.Paul's cathedral.
