he is winking to you ;)
Ladies and Gentlemen finally I did what I wanted to do!!
We organized a trip with 12 people and we went to Kanchanaburi by van. It was great we made an elephant ride and I was in the front riding the elephant. I thought I would fall off because it is shaking sooo bad! We took the 1-hour elephant ride through the jungle and water. Oh my God the elephant was sooo huge and hairy! The ears are funny though and warm, it tickled my feet hihi. I also made extra pictures, which you can see 😉
Then on Sunday I saw the most beautiful waterfalls ever!! The waterfalls were in the National Park called Erawan National Park. There were 7 levels and on each level was a waterfall with an incredible view. The water was so clear that you could see everything and there were so many fish. The fish were kind of annoying because they came to your feet and you had the feeling they were trying to eat you. Didn’t like that at all, but I guess it meant that the water was very clean. After walking the stairs up and down and taking a swim in the waterfalls we drove to the tiger temple.
The tiger temple was my highlight of the whole weekend! I was so excited and I have to say I still love tigers but they are scary. They are big and can hurt you so easily. Oh by the way before the visit to the tigers I had to sign a note that the temple doesn’t take any responsibilities for any injuries (nice isn’t it? Makes you feel soooo calm). The tigers of this temple seemed to be sleeping, but I do think they are giving them something to sleep otherwise it wouldn’t be so easy to just hold the tigers head without him opening the eyes. So for holding his head I had to pay extra which also was considered as a donation. It was worth it! You can see on the one picture that the tiger turned to me and looked at me and I think he yawned and seeing his teeth didn’t make me feel so comfortable. So I took my hand away from his bag. I don’t know how many tigers were there, I guess like 10 tigers. You came to this called canyon, waited in line with the

other tourists and then they took your hand and you had to sit and move how the people told you to. After making pictures with the tigers we went to the cages. Around the cages were all the animals as bulls, cows and pigs. At that time there was a monk sitting with a 5-month-old baby tiger, the tiger was so cute. I should have stolen it! Then a lot of tourists came and surrounded the tiger. In general the tourists there didn’t have any respect and just wanted pictures with tigers and sat next to the monk regardless of their sex. You should know as a woman that they are not allowed to sit too close to a monk. All in all I loved the tigers but I also felt bad for them because of the tourists and the way they had to do what the people wanted. Money making business! Overall the weekend was a great experience, a lot of fun and nature is beautiful!
