Beach & Bats

G'day all!

Well it's official now since of last Saturday. Its summer. It said on the papers that when spring school holidays start it means Summer starts on the Gold Coast. Yippee! It certainly feels like it! We have had wonderful weather here for a while and boy are we enjoying it! Carolina doesnt start work till 3 or 4pm so we just spend the time before that on the beach. If Mitch isnt working he joins us. Cool, ha?

We finally walked to the other way from our flat yesturday. There's a park full of trees and birds over there. We usually just go the other way, to the beach. We found out there wasnt much birds, but bats, and a whole lot of them. Actually it was colony of bats. It was pretty cool to see them hang on the trees and fly over us and make a lot of different noices. Did you know that bats could make 20 different calls and they communicate with smells too? Now you do.

Otherwise we havent done much. Just enjoyed the sun. And thats been plenty for us 😊 Enjoy the pics!

Me so jealous...
I think you know very well how's the weather is here in Vaasa.. Next week its already October, and yes, its f**ing cold, annoying wind and last but not least its so dark:( So please, enjoy the sun and summer time! 'Cause you are having so great time there I'm wondering if you ever want to come back home again!? Hope so.. Finland is not that bad after all. We are going to have snow soon;)
