Day 2

Jenny Wiley St Park, KY to Chicago, IL

Woke up after an aweful night sleep. Got attacked by coons. Big fat Kentucky State Park feed coons. I would scare them away and they would keep coming back. Noisy bunch of coons. I didn't have food out or anything. Clearly they had become domesticated.

Got up at 5:00AM. It was cold in Eastern Tennessee about 48 in the mountains. Road for an hour to best, cleanest, nicest Waffle house that I have ever been too. Warmed up and grubbed a great breakfast.

Rode through the tobacco fields of Kentucky. Flew around the beltway of Cincinnatti, crossed the Ohio into the flatlands called Indiana. Indiana has corn and soybeans with the occasional dirt track, indoor motocross, a Velodome, etc. Also, the home of the John Cougar Mellancamp. Driving through Indiana I could hear Small Town playing over and over in my head. All his music definetely has its roots in places like Indiana. I could also hear George W. Bush, say "America" in Indiana it have a profound impact.

Flew by Purdue University in West Layfette, Indiana. Cruising toward Chicago...

Came into Chicago on the Southside...Indiana remember is "America"...As soon as I crossed on the southside into

Corn on oneside and soybeans on the other...
Illinois the world changed...The Illinois side of the border must be the epicenter of the Obama campaign. Very different than the Indiana side...

Construction was everywhere it had just rained, rush hour was on, and I was going downtown Chicago to stay with my good college friend Shannon and her finance, Dave.

After 550 miles on my dirt bike with lots of trucks and traffic, I finally rolled in the there downtown row house ready for a cerveza.

We ate an outstanding authentic Mexican restaurant called Adobe. Caught up and had some excellent conversation on the inner city. Finally I ranked the crats in order of dangerousness to the country to my most liberal friends. Most dangerous to least dangerous, Edwards, Obama, Hillary. Drank some fabulous ritas and pacificos before calling it a night.

Award for Most Liberal Friend
I would like to thank the little people for my award bestowed upon me from a one Steven Clay; those starving in 3rd world countries, the unions, the homosexuals, CNN, my parents and 'crats everywhere, for letting me rant on their behalf. It is an honor and I thank you.
