Hello all, we are sorry that it has been this long since our last blog but we are staying in mountain huts that are no where near civilization and do not have internet. In fact we have just arrived in Cormayeur Italy (like Whistler but Italy of course) and had to buy two beer for 24$ in order to use the internet haha. This will be quick but hopefully the pictures will work.

Ok so the pictures wont down load so we will just tell you that we are having a wonderful time. Our bodies are feeling good, we have climbed as high as 2756 m and wow did we ever feel the elevation. It is exceeding our expectations and we have met people from all over the world. Mostly those who speak our language! It is frustrating that we can not send the pictures to you and we will try again in the next town in a couple of days. It is 7:30 at night, we are pooped after hiking so we have to go but we will hopefully be able to catch you up in the next town.

Love you and miss you all, please keep the messages coming as it is so nice to hear from home!

Kelley here now.....well this is really frustrating but you will just have to imagine us in the Alpine splendor.....it is so beautiful and every valley we enter is unique and just overwehlming. I guess you will have to take our word for it for now. Each day we eat breakfast, load the packs, and head out on an adventure...all new and exciting....we settle in a night unload and enjoy a dinner to nurish our tired bodies. It has been so wonderful and we only wish we could really share it with you.

We are having a great time and miss you all.....will try again in the next town....we are in Alpine huts for the next few days...so bye for now...luv,

K& A

words speak volumes
Sorry you two can't send pictures yet but based on your description it is everything you thought it would be and more. Glad that it is you two at 2800 meters. The only time I've been that high was on a Great bottle of Tequila..........Things are good here at home. We are finally getting some summer weather. The only reason Jim would have to call the Police for the noise comin g out of 102 would be the loudness of the snoring........Looking forward to your next Blog. luv Terry/Dad

Good to hear from you. I think for the pics you have to be somewhere where you can spend a good amount of time downloading them. It takes forever, I spent many an hour in Thai internet cafes, but I had lots of time cause I was listening to hockey games. Love you guys, can't wait to see some pics! M

Exceding expectations!
Wow! Imagine! Your trip is exceding expectations! Can't beat that. Congratulations on making your dreams come true. I am already wondering what adventures lie ahead of you after this trip ends. Can't imagine how you can type on a different keyboard. That would be a challenge. And, how many ounces of water equals 38 pounds? Sally forth, b
