Hello everyone. Just wanted to check in and send our first blog entry! We left at 8:50 pm on Tuesday evening and got to Nairobi today (Thursday) at 2:15 pm. We went from LA to London, London to Dubai (we got two post cards and a bottle of water for less than $1, we don't know how much change we got back though) and then Dubai to Nairobi. The airlines were great. We were fed very well and watched several movies! However, at this point I don't think our bodies know what the hell is going on. I'm not sure we do either! Everything went smoothly with the exceptio of getting our face wash and toothpaste taken in the London security line. Thanks to the mean/crazy people of our world, I was not allowed to take anything greater than 100 ml. Bye bye Crest ):
We are staying at the Fairview Hotel and it is quite nice. We are off to eat dinner next to the swimming pool.
