Hey! well ive arrived at last! long delays at Amsterdam, but parts missing from the plane engine so decided probably worth waiting for! arrived in Incheon, Korea at about 4 pm yesterday Korean time (8 hours ahead) and then caught bus to Chungnam to The University of Korea for my training week. Eventfull day yesterday with luggage going off from when us when we left the airport and not getting to us untill midnight! and our 'dinner' provided was a bannana!! (apparently because we were late!) ah well things look better this morning after a little sleep, had some brekkie - ham and cream soup, broccoli (why??!!) hot bread, half fried eggs (yes half?!) and mini wee banannas! very different but nice!
Been for a walk into their local 'town' its huuuugge! but heat really unbearable even at 10am! we struggled to get back up to the uni before collapsing for water! some strange little shops there but have no clue whats in any of them and all shut! (see pic below to see why!)
One thing really struck out last night travelling down was the neon blue churches crosses dotted across the sky line like Vegas! different!!
Got given two
gifts though on arrival, a plug convertor....but only from us/canadian to uk (about 90% of peops here are american or canadian were vastly out numbered!) and a tee- shirt which we cant read, so hope its not "Idiot foreigner coming through" or something on back!!
Well anyways, I start my training tomorrow, and then off to a Korean folk village on Sunday.
Hope everyones well, feeling really lonely so keep in touch, miss you all lots
Lots love cer xxxxxx

Arrived at last!!!
Well at least you have arrived - Chungnam looks just like all the pics we've been looking at for Korean towns doesn't it? No wonder you couldn't tell what the shops were selling - if anything!!!! Many hugs xx
