Hello again everyone. Im desperately trying to catch up on my blogs as Im a week behind so I apologise for the sudden influx of information. I also must apologise for the terrible spelling and grammer. I have just read over my previous entries and Im beginning to think I should work on my English before I even venture close to Spanish!!
I will say , however, that these flipping keyboards are a nightmare, dispite all keys being marked as normal, your very unlikely to find a keyboard with the right caracters on the right buttons...a very cunning way to keep your customers on the internet as long as possible!!!

On Friday I decided to head to the equator with my amigos. I was not that interested in this trip really , but I guess you have to go for novelty photo value alone. We opted to avoid the $2 bus journey to La Mitad del Mundo (midel of the earth) and pooled our money for a $40 taxi journey (you can take the girl out of the city...etc!). The taxi driver did wait around for us for 2 hours and took us home afterwards!
The equator is pretty much how you would imagine....a great big line painted on the ground... quite badly in my opinion!!! We were told however that the large monument with all the great photo ops , is acutally about 300 metres of target and a new equator line has recently be drawn using GPS. We headed for the real equator and although the photos werent as good we did get to try a few experiments . i.e trying to balance on the equator (nearly impossible due to the forces on each side!) and balancing an egg on the head of a nail...exciting stuff!

Im glad I went but thats really all that was there!
