Impressive Having seen others using the kitchen down the hall, we decided to cook something. Travelled to a supermarket on the metro, bought a few bits for a simple pasta dish and supplies for our overnight bus trip to Lithuania.
Having dropped it all off at the hostel, we continue with the sight seeing. We decided due to tender feet, that we would take it easy and have frequent rest periods in parks with the fore mentioned drunks.
By the end of the day we were ready for our planned pasta dish. At reception we collected the prized kitchen door key and with our supplies and bottles of beer we were ready to cook up a storm. Big Kichen lots of cupboards, but like old mother hubbard the kitchen was bare!!! 3 pans, a chopping boad and 1 spatula..........
"Skim" ever the optimist set about cooking. My trusty Swiss army knife came in handy to open a tin can and the beer. Food looked great, but no seats, plates or cutlery!!!!
Ended up carrying the whole lot back to our room (I knew the plastic cutlery we packed would come in handy, but why
Statue
A whole new meaning to pony treking... didn't I pack a plate)
Moral of the story, check out the kichen first........

G'day, The photos of your pad in Prague are super, great kitchen!!!!!! The city looks a great place to be with lots to see and do, but what about the pubs, would it be ok for a boys trip if you know what I mean!! Where are you now? I suppose your living it up in a 5 star hotel somewhere, with no kitchen HA! HA! It looks like you are both having a great adventure, I hope it works out as you planned. All the best Tony & Yvonne.
