We got to NYC after a 6 hour trip from NH. We sat in traffic (in the rain) for 2 hours just b/f the GWB "Welcome to NY!" But the sun came through and we made it to Bob's amazingly fabulous apartment on 66th and Broadway. The place is 3 blocks from Central Park...

We ate some true NY style pizza up the street and are now getting ready to catch the subway to Penn Station so we can take the LIRR out to Deer Park to meet up with my friends.

Tomorrow we will wander around the city, eat lunch in the park and then head to the MoMa (which is free on Fridays after 4!!!!!). I am so excited to stand in front of a Frida Kahlo painting. The museum is huge, but somehow I know I will gravitate towards that painting. "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth is also there so I can see two of my favorite artists in the same museum...for free!!! It doesn't get any better than that 😊

Off to find the subway....
