Hello there, been a while since I've been in contact so got a lot to tell you all! On the 27th we drove down to Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha with Damian. Had a fantastic couple of days. On the way there we got to see the Great Rift Valley which was a pretty amazing site and also saw the smallest church I've ever seen which was built by Italian prisoners of war in 1942 and is very cute!

We had a lovely picnic in the National Park and then went gorge walking which was a great experience as tested out the footwork and balance on the steep rocks! and made the muscles ache a bit - a good workout (made we puff and pant a bit, lol). In the evening, we stayed a banda, which is like a small cabin, very self contained and adorable, was great fun although got bitten to death by the mosquitos! Very itchy! Had a lovely meal in the evening right next to the Lake (which has hippos in so we had to keep our wits about us as apparently they have a tendency to roam onto dry land!).

On the 28th, Hannah and I went to the Silver Springs Hotel and met our fellow travelling buddies. Everyone seemed very friendly! Had a few drinks and then went out for Sushi as a farewell meal for us. Was my first experience of it and was surprised by how tasty it was. Tried tuna, salmon and squid. Later on in the evening we went for some more drinks in a very trendy bar in Nairobi. Got back very late and still had to pack ready to start our trip! (didn't have a very early night I can tell you considering we had to be up and about early the next day!)

That's all for now.
