Right after the jump
This morning we woke up feeling great! We also slept until 9:00am. Pretty good for us. The B&B served us a tasty breakfast while we had a nice chat with our host. After putting off leaving the area, we headed down the road 10 minutes so I could…………………..

BUNGY JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry mom and Dad. The last time I spoke with my parents, I was assured and reassured that I did not have to Bungy. Well, I didn’t think I was going to do it, but if felt right and the bridge didn’t seem that high.
I was the only one going to Bungy, Mark didn’t want to do it. So here is goes:

I walked out to the bridge

The man, can’t remember his name, put my feet in the harness. I watched him a bit, heard Velcro, now terrified. Tried to concentrate on the pretty snow capped mountains.

Stepped to the edge clutching for dear life to the railing. All I could think was don’t look down and what the hell are you doing. Out loud I said, “I can’t do it”. I heard the man say put both arms up in the air and

This is when I started to get scared
then…THREE…TWO..ONE. Bungy. And then I fell forward. I was too scared to actually jump. Once in the air, fear started to fade pretty quickly and it was really peaceful, that is until the stones in the clear creek below me started to get closer and closer. PING, the Bungy cord caught and back up I went, then it was just a blast being flung up and falling back down. I loved it!!!!
I was lowered into the boat and felt an amazing rush. It was such a crazy thing for me to do, but I loved conquering my fear. Another thing checked off the list!
Awesome!!!
I had an adrenaline high all the way to Christchurch. We are staying at the Holiday Inn and were unable to check in until 3:30pm, so I did what I did best. I bought a pair of Jeans. Unfortunately, my high wore off as the jean size went up. I hate that about the uk and here. Sizes are soo much smaller here. Ugh. But the jeans are great!!
