A Typical German Day, Hold the Currywurst.

Today was the coldest day yet. I ended up wearing a pair of Mom´s sweatpants underneath my black dress, Toni´s coat, and a black sort of pashmina shawl I brought with me for Morocco wrapped around my head. I looked like an old world immigrant for sure, but I was warm. We ¨borrowed¨an umbrella from the hotel that I really like and want to take with me.

We didn´t do a whole lot. Just enjoyed the day. Had another nice Italian lunch (cause it was that or currywurst) and looked around the shops. Tried to get into the schuhmuseem, but they had limited hours. We did actually find postcards in a random shop and Mom sent some gifts and notes to the family. After a lot of walking around, we sought shelter in a movie theater and saw Die Hard or Stirb Langsam. The movie was good, but the popcorn was sweet and bummed me out.

We ate at the hotel that night, which was AWESOME food. I also had the best coffee ever that came with a tiny ice cream cone. Milchkaffee. I love it. We´re off to Suecia tomorrow so I´ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story for today!

Escapism
It was raining really hard and cold, cold, cold so we escaped into a theater to watch Strib Langsam. I hate dubbing, but it all made sense. Explosions translate easily.
