X-Milfield team! X-Milfield team! X-Milfield team!

Nina, Sim and Blessing.... and lots of bowling balls - got to find the right one- not to heavy not too light..
After travelling for 48 hours we landed at Heathrow. It was at security level “critical”, but we made it though quite quickly and with Jeremy waiting outside we were in Twickenham in no time! It feels really good to be back at Cathy and Jeremy’s proper house with all the goodies a house should have. Nice clean bathrooms with flushing toilets, a comfortable clean bed, kitchen, back garden with a BBQ and a Sky TV box. We are really living it up here! Thanks a bunch guys for putting us up, we look forward to pick you up at the world’s smallest commercial airport at Saba ready to return the favour.

Bowling
Meeting up with some ex-colleagues, Nina is the bowling champion after winning two rounds of Tenpin bowling out in Feltham! The bowling is in a leisure complex with all sorts of games and “Tivoli” stuff, music was too loud so talk properly so we had a yummy curry on the way home around midnight.

Saturday in town
London is a fun place to be! We spent the day in town. Starting with a coffee (!) on Old Compton street in Soho, followed with some beers on the grass in Soho Square. It is always good fun just to sit in this little square as it is perfect for people watching and with the sun out most of the time... it was perfect! Then La Perla in Convent Garden was on the list as they have happy hours on Cocktails between 5-7 and have fantastic strawberry margaritas in a huge jug. After that there was a bit of a pub crawl before we ended up having a curry again! We eat a lot of curries when in London 😊 There was a lot happening in London this week, the start of Tour the France, Live Earth concert, Wimbledon finals.. we saw some on tv, but did not have any tickets or fancied going to big crowd areas.

Sunday BBQ
After some subtle prodding, Jeremy was texting his mates for an impromptu BBQ on Sunday. We couldn't believe that it would be the first of the season! The sun shone, the drumsticks grilled and the champagne flowed freely... lovely.

Definitively going to Saba
Yes, we are going even if the paperwork will take some time. Whooouu-hoo! We have bought the tickets to Canada leaving on Saturday (14th

of July), that should give us about 10 days in Canada before we are off to Saba. It will be great to see the Brandt's and get the last items in order for our stay in the Caribbean. We are really looking forward to get to the island and start working.

Yes regarding paperwork. We need a police report in order to apply for a work permit in Saba. In England it takes up to 40 working days to receive it, now that is like 8 weeks!! We phoned Norway and there it takes up to 14 days.. but guess Norway is smaller country right? Anyways we are just happy it is all coming to place and we are on our way soon.
