Day Two St. Lucia!

We woke up this morning & enjoyed some St. Lucian cuisine...very good! The milk isn't warm so that's always a plus...

We wanted to spend our day laying & swimming over at Marigot Bay, but when we got there, well, let's just say it wasn't very nice...

Sooo we took a 'water taxi' over to the Northern tip of the island. We passed Castries (the most populated city here) and saw Rodney Bay, and finally docked at Pigeon Island. Our water taxi driver knows everyone so said he would stay around the island and take us back whenever we were ready... so we ate (met a nice family from NY), climbed up a moutain to see the French Fort Ruins (where we had the MOST AMAZING view of the island, actually on a very clear day, you could see Martinique...I'll post some of the pics) and then headed back down for a swim in the Carribean. We really enjoyed ourselves...

Because today is our actual anniversary, we decided to have a romantic dinner here at the hotel (it's free!) and just relax. Although it took about 2 hours to get our meal, my mango dessert at the end of the evening was well worth it!

We are heading out early tomorrow morning...So we're going to bed!!

Good Night from St. Lucia!

HOLA Mr. & Mrs. Montenegro
By the looks of it, it seem like you guys are having a blast. I love this whole travel blog thing you got going on guys. It is like you are gone on vacation but still connected to us. LOL!! I miss you both. I just got back from Sanibel tonight. We got awesome weather and the place we stayed was really cute and quaint. Obviously, not the type of views like you both have but it was pleasant nonetheless. See you both when you return. I need my gym partner back so hurry. I am on strike until you return Ellie. P.S. Bad ass room by the way. I'm jealous!!!
