Back in Sydney!

Yeah, so for Chris's birthday, I bought him a Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, which we did on his birthday at twilight, so we could see the sun set from the top of the harbour bridge, watch the whole of sydney gradually light up like it was decorated with fairy lights and the stars slowly come out and the opera house slowly light up. Oh yeah, and fire works that were going off at an international rugby match - it was all quite a sight to see from the top of the harbour bridge. Amazing, actually.

It was pretty nippy once we at the top - they made us all wear those mechanic suit things, and harnesses with parachutes, fleeces, radios, headphones, speakers, all attached to us somehow - added up, it does all way u down a bit when youre constantly climbing up steps up a rather big bridge.

Hope that the photos give some idea of how beautiful it was up there, will add some more when we get to a better computer which allows us to connect the camera to it. . .

Oh yeah, you may be wondering why there arnt more photos taken from the top of the bridge - we wernt allowed to take our cameras up there, apparantly an insurance/security thing, nothing was allowed to be take up that was not the bridge climbing company's and that wasnt attached to us. .. . a bit crap really - but hope you like the other ones anyway

Thanks for your latest photos they were lovely. It was nice to see your pictures from such a well known landmark. Hope you enjoyed the climb, a bit mean of them not to let you take your cameras, no doubt another opportunity for them to make money out of visitors!! Hope you had a great birthday Chris, it was lovely to speak to you. I am glad your trip to Christchurch went ok. Make sure you get yourself some warm clothes. Beautiful pictures of my lovely harbour. Understand that you are now in New Zealand and going skiing. Some people have all the luck. School is a nightmare and I CANNOT WAIT until the end of term!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fabulouse birthday treat that was , well done Caroline, Chris you will certainly remember this birthday, no dought you followed it up with a few 'scoop's' at Darling harbour. You can reflect on your escapades when you are back home having a pint in the 'Dog & Duck or some such watering hole on a foggy winters night. We are steaming ahead with our house move tipping out all the things we picked up on our travels and emptying the loft of all the 'just in case ' things we've stored for years. Liverpool have signed Torres, Benayoun and will sign dutch international Babel for £12 million so it looks like they mean business. When you come back bring some bloody sunshine with you, its rained here for the last 6 weeks. God bless take care of each other come home safe Love,Grandad/Granmum xxxx

Hello Chris and Caroline. I hope you are both well and enjoying New Zealand. Have you seen any snow yet. Not sure where you both are at the moment. Last we heard you were thinking about hiring a car, did that happen? Rach arrived back from Ibiza last nigh and seems to have had a great time although she said it was too hot!!! Makes a change from the lousy weather here at the moment. Looking forward to breaking up next week and setting off on our holidays, hope its as hot as they say!!!
