Not a bad place to be on 777
We just got back from an amazing trip to Volcan Poas and La Paz waterfall garden on Saturday. It was INCREIBLE!!! Volcan Poas is at about 8000 feet elevation and the bus ride there had great views of the central valley as we went up the windy windy roads. As we got to higher elevation it began to rain acid rain from the volcano. Once we got to the top we hiked to a point where we were supposed to be able to see a Volcano but it was too cloudy and we could not see it. I guess we will just have to come back! After that we took about a 2 mile hike through the RAIN FOREST!! We were amazed by all of the different plants and trees and the fact we were in the middle of a rain forest. It was raining so we were glad we brought our rain gear as it came in pretty handy.

After we completed our Volcan Poas journey we left for La Paz Waterfall Garden. (This would also be Trista and Ryans honeymoon spot for any Bachelorette fans out there!) The walk through La Paz was filled with a ton

From a distance . . . not a bad view.
of different things . . . all incredible. The walk started off with us passing though a bird aviery where we saw all sorts of tropical birds. Then we went to a butterfly garden which had tons of butterflies just flying free. Then, after rapidly moving through the ranarium which contained many different frogs we headed off to go see the grand spectacle..... waterfalls!!!!! We saw 3 different waterfalls. The sound alone and how close we were to them was amazing. It was the most beautiful place we have ever been!
