Welcome to St. Lucia!

Hi Guys!

Sam & I are finally here!! We wish everyone could see the scenery! I'm going to post some of the pictures that we have taken so far...(if I tried posting them all, your computers would blow up because Sam takes 5647 pics a second :D) Our plane ride went smoothly, I was sitting behind toddler, who apparently was teething, but besides that it was alright. We got to St. Lucia at about 2:30pm, but with the immigration line & getting the cab, we didnt leave the airport until about 3:15. Okay so, did anyone know that they drive on the wrong side of the road here?! I totally spazzed when I saw it. Sam was actually going to try and go in the front of the cab with the driver, when he noticed the steering wheel...it was quite funny..

So here are a few pics of the roads and some of the scenery on the way to the hotel. Our hotel is about 50 minutes away from the airport, and St. Lucia is made up of one main road...so there was a lot (I mean a lot) of twists & turns....

Our cab driver Alfred (really nice man) stopped at the top of one of the moutains so we could take some pictures...the man was trying to earn his tip! Anyway, here are some of those pictures....

Finally we have arrived at Discovery Hotel @ Marigot Bay. We were welcomed with drinks and towels to "freshen up" we received a tour of the hotel and then were escorted to our rooms...we are the on the last floor...so the way up is no joke (no gym necessary here)! The room is beautiful! Some pics too...

We grabbed bite to eat at the "Hurricane Hole" and then went for swim. We are going to rest as much as we can tonight, because tomorrow we're heading out on the town! Love you all! Miss you!

Looks like you guys are having a great time!!!! I bet you cant wait for that 10 hour horse ride through the mountains.. yikes! Remember what I told you Lissette.... =-)
