After spending the night we finally were making our way to the fabulous “Paradise Beach Club” which is why the Balkan Boys talked us into going to Mykonos at all. The problem is we did not know where it was and the coordinates we got from the owner were not compatible. So we went along the south coast of Mykonos anc checked the bays until we found a nice one with 2 beach clubs. Unfortunately they were others so we just anchored. Since we had 25 knots leeward of the mountain the poor skipper (still me I must say) had to grab divers glasses and jump in the water to see what the anchor would do. Brrr, water was cold. Anyway, the beach was wrong, the wind too much and cold so nobody wanted to stay there. After discussing, we decided to go back to the harbour (the one with the construction site) and take a taxi from there, see Mykonos. We got into the north part which looked excellent and with a nice manoeuvre we fixed the boats and opened a can of beer. There was even a water and electricity connection. GREAT! Until this Indiana Jones guy came: shorts, a black belt with a gun, knife and a lot of other survival stuff inside. We only missed the whip  He told us to leave, these places were only for V.I.P. I even called the port authority on the radio but no chance - we had to leave again. Meanwhile it was maybe 5 p.m. So we went back to find a place in the south (dirty) part of the harbour but almost all places were taken.
Luckily Rob had walked there before and he could get us 2 places for the 2 cats next to a freighter (nice view, haha). So we waited for a larger charter ship to get in and made our move. After I was fixed another big charter ship came and got in a race for the other free space with Richy, the skipper of the other cat. What shall I say - like in all boat races, Richy never wins :D. We ended up taking him in front of us tied to our boat (see picture).
By this time I got through a fight with someone from the other boat and one could clearly see that after 7 days in a boat aggressions raised a little.
It’s always like this: you start out in the vacation and small things don’t matter but after a while it is vital that the crew share the same interest and everybody does his part of the work. Otherwise it gets difficult.
Finally we stayed and set out to Mykonos - what a good choice. Mykonos town looks fantastic. Sure it is very touristic but you should go and see it anyway, it’s worth it.
We got to a restaurant and ate a lot of expensive food. The worse was that we drank a lot of wine…I can not describe all the singing and laughing but I promise to put a video on in the next days!!!! Well, all aggressions were forgotten…

The night life was beginning to make fun. I was kissing some belly buttons (including the one from the waitress :D - I was soo drunk). Some of you know how much stupid fun I can make when I am drunk  I checked IDs of guests of a club and we had a lot of fun. It was a night to remember!
