This is not probably going to be the most thrilling post to read but I needed the downtime. After the craziness of Glasto I got back and Barbara got me back into her soaps and Big Brother (which is much more interesting than Aussie BB). I also watched some of the video of Glasto that she had recorded (so far I've only spotted myself on the front row of the Amy Winehouse gig). I had a couple of days off and then on Thursday I headed in to Paddington in London for a couple of injections to do with work but because I didn't have my records they had to take some blood and do some tests and I had to go back on Monday. Whilst I was in I went to HMV and spent money on CDs which considering the state of my bank account was probably not the best idea. On Saturday Barbara headed to Oban to sort out the last few things to do with Granny's house and I stayed at her house with Muffin. That weekend I discovered was Rock Am Ring week on MTV2 so I recorded some of it, and so far have managed to spot myself at the front row of the Kaiser Chiefs. I also watched some of the Diana concert but thought it was pretty crap. The sound quality and filming didn't seem that great and everyone was sitting so far from the stage. Even Lily Allen didn't impress that much. And when Kiefer Sutherland went out and talked I at least expected him to torture one person 24 style - but all he did was introduce the next band. What a disappointment. In the end I got my 24 fix from the Simpsons spoof of 24 episode that was on that night. On Monday I went in to London for injections and got told that I was going to have come back again! Joy! Barbara is come back on Tuesday night and then she dropped me off at Colchester station on Wednesday and I caught the bus to the airport and then jumped on my plane to Ireland. I could've done with a couple more days off but I'll soon get back into the swing of things!!

How's the Emerald Isle? I think you took the rain away with you over there although today there was a storm with hailstones today here. What happened to the British summer? The T in the Park concert in Scotland was a wash-out on the Friday but the weather looked fine the other two days. You'll be pleased to know I got about half an hour of Tori Amos- finally manged to locate her via the interactive red button. Nowhere near as much coverage as Glastonbury (only one and a half videos!) partly because the Live Earth concert was on all day on BBC too. I only videoed Keane (didn't bother with Razorlight, Snowpatrol etc as I got a lot of them on other concerts). It was better than the Diana concert but not as good as all the other concerts that have been on. Don't forget to drink at least one Guiness for me!!!
