went to the beach

hi guys,well lots has happened since i wrote last.i went and booked two island getaways from lautoka town,both tours started at 800am.the first one was to an island just a quick water taxi ride and it was called Bekana resort.i was lucky enough to go on a day when it wasn't crowded so i had the beach to my self and a water sport guy at my disposal....easy there all you filth's!!!so i arrived and immediatly went to the water and you wouln't believe how warm it was and greeny blue.i layed in the water and read my book and spent most of the day like that.then i went to the pool and swam with this nice couple from england and ended up having lunch with them.they were on a round the world trip so they were telling me about all their highlights and money problems.
after lunch and too many fiji bitters i decided it was time for a nap,so i found a hammock beside the beach and crashed.when i woke up it was time for tea and cookies,sometimes it feels like i'm in england with the way the fijians always have tea.by the time i changed ti was time to go catch my boat to town.
on tuesday i went to an island getaway to Mala-Mala.i got a taxi to nadi,then to denauru marina where all i saw was tourists.we all waited for our boats to arrive and take us on our hour long journey to paradise.the boat ride was so beautiful and reflective.all i did was listen to my m.p.3 player and smile at reeta's favorite song(boriqua).whae we arrived i could not believe the color of the water.my god it was so blue and turqoise it took my breath away.the whole island was a ten minute walk around and there was small bure's set up so we could sit and watch the day go by.they had all the drinks we wanted and a nice lunch of lamb(thought of u anne),chicken,sausage,fish,salad,watermelon,papaye,pineapple and did i mention booze!!!
after the lunch their was guided snorkling tours and glass boat rides.there was also a beach volley ball game ,fiji vs the world,i had to represent my country.the world thought i let them down.next i took a nap,what a surprise is what my family is probably thinking.when it came to 400pm it was time to go back on our hour long trip to denaru marina.i got back into lautoka late and went straight to bed.
to day i will go to Bijju's house and stay for a few days and visit the whole village.wish me luck on the pit toilets and if don't write,alert the fiji sanitation dept for "a woman in the whole".love u all very much.vee

jana i think we should do half marathon in mala mala,it's ten minutes around the island and every time u come around they hand u a beer and cool u dowm with a slpash what do u think?any one up to the challenge if janna punks out?
