Edit Blog Post

While we're still feeling peaceful, those smiles on our faces are not as bright. It's taken until Sunday (translation: overtime pay) to get someone to take a look at Millie. As we post, the mechanic has installed the new starter (Millie's still not working) and is now putting in a new battery. Mark brought Hazel to Flagstaff early this morning so he can catch a series of shuttles to get to the North Rim to meet his girlfriend and drive home to Santa Fe with her. Some night after a couple of drinks, we'll do blog entry about our unique friend Hazel. Yesterday was a hot one so after some more exploring (including Frank Loydd Wright's Chapel of the Holy Cross), we hung out at Oak Creek swimming and trying to catch lizards and fish. There are a lot of hummingbirds in this area and we're enjoying those as well. We found a great local brewery/restaurant for Mark's birthday and had dinner looking at the Red Rocks. If we can't get Millie going, it will be time for plan B. No, we don't have plan B yet -- but we'll figure it out. More Later...
