Samui, a taste of paradise!

FINALLY!!!!!

We are now on a little paradise island, at last!! A lot better than the stinky poo hole of Bangkok.

We took the over night bus which took about 11 hours, we were impressed with the bus as it wasn't a clapped out old truck. It had lots of legs space for andi's extra long gangly legs and air con so we were more confident we didnt get ripped off at the T.A.T. (tourist info/booking thingy)

After a couple of hours on a boat and a short taxi ride we got to our resort.
We are in a beach house a few steps from the white sand and turquoise water!!!!!!
The weather is hot here but thankfully not as humid as it was in Bangkok, it was ridiculous there, apparently its the hottest city in the world!!! But that didnt matter as we just walked around naked all day (he he).

Andi isnt too keen on me getting my boobs out but I think the rest of the Island are ok with it!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a miracle!!

I swear, the moment we arrived at the resort, saw the beach and dropped our stuff off in the room, my ears suddenly stopped aching! I have no idea why, but Lesley is happy now, although I've been sucking on car tailpipes as the lack of exhaust fumes in the air is sending me cold turkey!

We've met an Oz couple and they've invited us to Melbourne when we get over there, so thats cool...

Anyway, a nice short blog entry for you all..

The Aussie Couple
Hi guys, Back in Melbourne and missing Thailand. It is freezing here! 13 degrees tomorrow! Brrr. Our last meal in Bangkok was Burger King and Ham and Cheese sandwiches so not happy! I suggested that we go back to our hotel and stick our fingers down our throat to purge ourselves. It was disgusting but the kids loved it. Had to down our last Thai beer at the airport outside the Family Mart out of a plastic bag! We suggest Bangkok Air to fly with. It was very clean and quick and staff were good. No indian curry smells! Keep having a great time. Bronnie's already planning your joint birthday party, Lesley! Looks like animals will be involved! Saw our house yesterday and have been told it will be ready in 3-4 weeks. Hope you don't mind a purple feature wall in your room! Haha! Phoebe and Andrew xx
