PIIIIIIISSSAAAA!!

Wow, for those who got far on the last blog.
congrats!
i definitely owe you a cookie or sumthing when i get back!
cuz that one was massive!
rite now, we're waiting for our train to Venice from Florence, and soooooo, we figure, we're sooo beat up from walking that we'll computer it up!
(our feet are seriously, all blistered and bandaged...)
SO, continuing on in eurotrip 2007.....

PISA, ITALY!
for those who can't tell by the name, Pisa = Leaning Tower of Pisa. Annddd...that's pretty much it.
We get to Pisa @ night after an extremely bumpy ride provided to us by the discount airline, Ryanair, we arrive at the campsite where we realized that we weren't actually staying inside a building but a trailer. We chat with a few of our trailermates, and then the next morning we're off.
It was SO nice to get a good nite's rest without the snoring!
Well, when we get to the area with the leaning tower, it is then when we realize what a tourist attraction it is! there were ppl EVERYWHERE!
and once again, the souvenir shop owners were all.....brown. (random side note)

It was definitely very cool to see the leaning tower and its surrounding churches and buildings up close and personal. the area where all of this was located is appropriately titled the "Field of Miracles" because the white and majestic buildings contrasted with the fresh, green grass - so it actually does seem like some type of miracle!

I think what made my experience here mucho cool though was just tourist watching. Sounds funny, but just watching the hordes of tourists, "lean" on the leaning tower for pictures is a tourist attraction in itself!
At times there were just lines of tourists one in front of the other, leaning on...air.
It was hilarious!
So of course, ruby and i decided to be original, and do our own take on the "lean". You guys can be the judge of that. and see how well that worked!

After a few more pictures, and staring at tourists, we left to head to the train station.
Ruby bought a REAL italian pizza. The only real difference between italy pizza and canadian pizza is the crust, which is a lot thinner. This makes the pizza harder rather than soft!
all in all, it still tasted pretty damn good!

so did the leaning tower of pisa (re: picture of lesk licking the tower) taste as good as the italian pizza (re: picture of ruby eating the pizza)? i think the pisa might be a tad crunchy... loooove you lesk!

Hey..mans.. omgosh you guys are such posers..haha looks like you guys are having so much fun tho..quick question how come all the tourist are all asian in that picture, or is that just me. omgosh i can't believe you wrote such a long ass blog last time, seriously, it took me 1.5 hours to read. come on and cut the slow readers some slack.. haha it was funny tho, ruby getting hit on 11 times, and leslie 0, that's just like in canada, things never change anywhere around the world. hah well anywho.. i just wanted to know how many takes (of the pictures) did you guys have to take until you got the right position, with all the hands in the right place, and tongue in the right position. haha..or is that a new talent that you picked up, eh eh eh.. haha, oo shoot fun fact for you kids, one of the most common places to attract lice, fungus, stds, and crabs, are from hostiles, thats why they are so cheap.. sooo.. yahhh.. take care of yourself, luv J dawg ps. you are getting dark already hahha.. don't worry it's a good thing pasty is SO 2006.
