Hong Kong
over russia on the way Well here it is everyone our first proper blog all the way from hong kong haha.
We leave hong kong in 2 days (saturday for the people who r thick) and we have done it all.
Visited the Big Buddah, seen the light shows, been up the peak, been on the star ferry, been shit on by hong kong birdlife. Waiting for the bus to go up the peak and this little twatting sparrow decided to christen me (Neil). We then missed the bus for the peak because we was in the toilet washing it off. Our adventure begins haha.
The weather has been very hot over the past 5 days me and sally have easy lost 2 stone in fluids (although it doesnt look like on the pics). Today was the 1st cloudy day and its been a bit cooler today and tomorrow looks set to follow suit.
The hotel is how can you put it a bit on the shoebox size. Put it this way you can sit on the toilet, brush your teeth, wash your face and answer the door all at the same time. For anyone who has seen sallys bedroom it

Hong Island from the star ferry is on par with that. We are sure the maids find our toilet comfortable because everytime we come home there is an awful smell and we cant fathom out where it is comeing from.
The peak was amazing it is a mountain up the back of hong kong island you get to it on a tram which is pulled up the side of the mountain by 2 cables at a 50 degree angle. The buildings looked horizontal it was that steep. We plan to go up the peak of a night to see all of hong kong lit up but its been a bit cloudy today so it would of been pointless.
We are sorted with the transport we are useing the buses and star ferry like we have lived here all our lives.
The food is not what we was expecting. We was looking forward to plenty of duck pancakes but the only food really on offer here is pig organ soup or some other stuff that doesnt look to good ie pig intestine, pig trot soup just a few to mention. We have spent most of our money on normal food like pizza hut and

Phillipino maids day off, there is about 10000 maids and they all block the roads and play cards on cardbored box's int he middle of the streets maccies. we have to admit the hong kong cusine just hasnt lived up to expectation.
We will update this again when we get to bangkok in a few days time.
