Hello people

I know some of you have waited for this post, and here it is finally. I just arrived in Vilnius 3 days ago and i can say only that this city is as beautiful as last year, even more beautiful, and i was even more impressed by it then the last time. I left Romania Last week and to get here i had to go to Hungary and than to Slovakia from Slovakia to Czech Republic, Poland and after that to Lithuania, you might say that it is a great experience to pass all this countries, but really it is not because i was first in a train for 20 hours and after that in some buses and the only time i was out of them was when i had to change them and i had 50+ kilos of luggages.

Even if the road was long i had time to spend 1 day in Bratislava with some very special persons, some people that really put up everything for AIESEC, the Slovakian MC. I was there during the transition weekend and they were very nice to me and made me feel comfortable. Sunday morning we (me

transition weekend
and Deny) left for Czech republic, of course we almost missed our bus and we got at the buss station with a cab going 140 km/hour. We got to Czech republic and we decided to eat something in a restaurant nearby the buss station, at the end when we saw the check we regretted the decision 😞. At 13:30 we left Prague with a bus that was going straight to Vilnius for 20 hours (when i will go home i will hitchhike) and we almost got crazy in the bus, first of all the driver was stopping every 5 hours for 5 minutes, then they played French movies doubled in Russian and with Lithuanian subtitles. staying 20 hours in the bus is not fun...especially when you are stacked with the same CD with 10 songs.

We arrived in Vilnius Monday morning, one hour before expected, and we had to wait ....and the current MC welcomed us with bread, salt and some milk (sorry but i cannot remember the name). I know it is not nice to say this but that bred was really salty and i had to drink water all day long. :S

In the first day

we went around the city and at the MC office, we got our room in town and we went out with some ppl from the MC and AIESEC Vilnius.

Thank you guys for everything, I REALLY FEEL THAT THIS WILL BE A GREAT YEAR FOR ME AND FOR AIESEC IN LITHUANIA

PS: for all th boys out there...If you are searching for a traineeship come to Lithuania because it's full of beautiful girls (i hope i will have time to take a few shots and upload them)

This is all for now, i hope i will have time to make another post or two this week.

Danny
