We finally landed in rome at 8:30 am...2:30 EST. the landing was really really really rough and the lady come on the intercom and said thank you for choosing continental, we have a pilot in training flying today so we will be sure to tell him the landing was a bit bumpy...and be careful because your luggage may have shifted during the....landing (instead of flight) it was funny. we had to wait in fuimincino airport for another hour and a half before we got on our bus to take us to our apartment. we got to our apartment and found the guy who was supposed to show us around. he told us how to do everything and left. we decided to go out and walk around a bit to try and find some food and a fan. we did not find a fan but we found an excellent pizzeria that is only a half a block from our door. as we were eating a dark cloud moved in and the skies opened up. it has been raining for a couple hours now and hasnt let up. before the rain though, the weather was beautiful. everyone else is taking a nap
Bedroom balcony view
View from my bedroom balcony cause they didnt sleep on the plane like i did. we have dinner at 745 right across the street from us..we are lucky cause we are the only apartment so close...everyone else has a rather long walk.i think the rain let up so i am going to go sit outside!
