Hoi An is an increadable city! The city was given a UNESCO World Heritage Status designation in 1999 because it is such a well preserved and exemplary Southeast-Asian port city. Definitely one of our favorite places on the whole trip! The architecture is amazing and the people are so friendly and sincere.

Hoi An is also a destination for tailor made clothing, so we had quite a few things made and it was really fun! Just hope all the fried spring rolls and steamed pork buns don't go straight to our buns!

The women that worked in the resturant at our hotel taught us some Vietnamese. Everyday they taught us new phrases. We use our new language skills and people are really impressed that we even try. We get great reactions so we just keep trying to learn more. We use "no thank you" by far the most, but our favorite is "yo" which means cheers. It is quite fun!
