Hi to All!
Well, we've done it - finally tied the knot! Thanks to all our family and friends for helping us celebrate the most amazing day of our lives last Saturday. Word's truely can't describe how perfect it was. We had the perfect weather, the perfect locations, and we're perfectly happy. (How sickening for you to read!) Honestly, we have absolutley no complaints, only to say that the day went by way too quickly and we wish we could have partied on the whole weekend (although Kate's feet might have thought otherwise!). Thanks to our photographers and our family and friends we have hundreds of photos and several hours of video to be able to always remember that day.
But as for now, we are in the throws of packing up our house to prepare for the next chapter of our new book. With only a week left here in Adelaide we are getting anxious about not seeing our family and friends for a long time, but through this blog we hope you will enjoy taking the journey with us.
For your on-flight information we will ensure your comfort by keeping you up-to-date with our destinations
and experiences. Our first setp is boarding the plane in Adelaide on 29th May and flying to Perth where we spend the day before taking an overnight flight to Johanesburg, where we start our African adventure. It will be likely that we will not have regular email access while there for a month, but we will try to write, at least to let you know we have not been eaten by a lion or hippo and that we are enjoying our honeymoon (but we will spare some of the details for you...).
So watch this space for the adventures of the Roma's!
All our love,
Kate and Mark

Congrats
Well done guys - great to see you finally tie the know... Just tried to call you Kate, but guessing you are WAY TOO busy to answer the phone today. Have fun in the travels and stay in touch - who knows, I may be overseas again soon and we can catch up
