Darwin and Kakadu National Park

...and we are back from the wilderness. Three days of basic camping in the middle of the Kakadu NP was quite an experience! I'm underlining the word basic because it was really, really basic. To give you an idea of the toilet: a hole in the ground behind a bush around here known as dunny . 😊 Ha-ha! But we survived and feel as real 'bushmen' by now.
For the rest - this place is really beautiful! We had lots of fun, lots of beautiful views and did quite some hiking and swimming too. Luckily - no crocks showed up for a snack! 😊

Hallo daar, Vorige week jullie kaart ontvangen, bedankt. Vandaag weer de prachtige fotos van jullie weer gezien , het ziet er allemaal prachtig uit en een hele beleving zo in de bush bush. Wat zullen jullie straks weer van jullie eigen huis genieten, dat is dan weer luxe, en vooral natuurlijk de sanitaire voorzieningen. Wilde Jan Willem zich op die ene foto zich alvast opmaken voor sinterklaas als zwarte piet. Of heeft hij een behoorlijke graadsverbranding opgelopen? En hoe zit het met de muggen , vinden ze jullie nog lekker? Mooi dat we zondag op moederdag kontakt hadden, mijn moederdag kon niet meer stuk!
