.....it was a possom, sat happily having a drink in the bar (thats me and Nat not the possom!!) last night and then there it was well there they were two possoms sat in the tree, another australian animal to tick off our list .
So we're in Darwin, really nice place not sure what i was expecting but its nice, lovely infact . yesterday we had a look around the shops and walked down the esplanade along the park under all the shady trees. Then we decided we would go to the deckchair cinema..there was only a balck and white arty type australian movie on but we thought well we'll give it a go, so we did. i can recommend deckchair cinemas, sat under the stars in comfy seats the odd bat flying past the screen and luckily not too many bites thanks to the free repellent they supplyed, if only we had the weather in England for them, I'd be there every week .
After the cinema we went to a bar, well we were going to go to a few but we got comfy . A few drinks later..they call last orders at 1am over here not 11pm!! (we thought time was going slowly!) we headed back to our beds, now the bunk beds are bad enough when you havnt had anything to drink. so you can imagine me and Nat having to clamber on top of the two bunks trying to be quiet aswell... (that just made it worse)....i was concentrating too much on my feet and whacked my head off the ceiling!! I did sleep well however..think it may have been concussion (only joking mum..im fine) .
So today we had a nice lie in and then have been getting sorted for our next trip...just found out that a biggest loser contestent is on at a pub in Darwin with his band so we're going to see him i think (oh for those of you who dont know, the biggest loser was a tv show we watched religiosly in Perth about overweight people losing weight!)
So that all for now, speak you all soon after my next adventure x x

Hello
Hiya, glad you are writing blogs again, i love reading them! Gives me something to look forward to when i get back form work. Talking of work, I'm starting to absolutely dispise Vodafone. It's crap and dread going in everyday. Had an interview yesterday for a PA job so keeping fingers crossed for that. Andy is finally home from hospital. Doing really well considering he has lost 3 stone!!! Had a check up yesterday and they were really pleased with him and all his results came back really good. Finally glag to get back to normal. Rang the church today and spoke to vicar. Hopefully should be able to gte married at the church in Egglescliffe Village. Just need to meet vicar and fill in form and if archbishop consents then it'll be fine. If not then we have to go to church for 6 months but only twice a month. Small sacrifice i think. Glad you're still having a great time. Half way through now, Love Emma xxx
