Well I made it to the Taj Mahal and what a sight to behold. It truelly is an amazing building, and more so because it represents one mans love for his wife. It's quite emotional really.

It was a long day and I was supposed to be on an air-conditioned bus but because I was travelling alone I was told to sit on the back seat where the a/c doesn't reach hahahahaha. But after about 4 hours we arrived. We went straight to the Red Fort and it was from here that I had my first glimpse of the Taj Mahal, breathtaking.

We then had some lunch and headed for the Taj Mahal itself. I hope the photos can do it justice. It is made out of marble with inlaid jewels which make up the intricate patterns. The Tomb itself is flanked on either side by two mosques which are built of red stone and the contrast is wonderful.

On the journey home the coach broke down, what else would you expect, it was a real comedy of errors and we eventually got back at 3.30am.
