Edit Blog Post

Sorry - we lost the text for this blog last year and we are so lazy that we haven't been able to get our arses into gear to update it again ever since. We'll do it properly one day, but in the meantime we have some captions under the photos which indicate what a lovely jolly whizzy time we had in London for a few days.
See ya for now,
S, A & B. xx

Couldn't believe that we managed to get three iconic Londonisms in one photo! Bus, Ben n Box (phone that is).

There are some really nice little shops in this place. We got Beth a dog puppet and a little handmade giraffe knife & fork set for when she is a bit bigger and wants burgers n' chips like her mum and dad.

This memorial is at the opposite end of St James park which we walked through to reach Buckingham Palace.

Look - the flag is flying and this means that the Queen is in residence. We saw on telly that she was home packing for a big trip to America.

We asked who was turning up and it was apparently Les Dennis, Angela Rippon and Barry Cryer so we didn't bother waiting to see them. Now, if it had been George Clooney that might have been a different story on account of how Alan fancies him.

We walked past this place a few times - we really fancied going inside to eat but it didn't look too 'pram friendly' so we'll need to wait till Beth gets little bigger. I like this pic as there is a Lollypop Man hiding behind the plants having a fag!

We met up with Shazza's old flatmate Johnnie one evening in Covent Garden for a lovely Italian supper in the warm spring evening air!

She was such a total star and didnt cry at all, even when we had to feed her on the back seat of the taxi.

We ate here the first night we in London. It was great - all the items on the menu were related to films that James Cagney was in, and it was completely reasonable too, with the bill coming to £25 for two big main courses and four alchoholic drinks.

The first horse that wee Beth has seen. First Horse Guard too come to think of it! Don't think she was that impressed - she said something about it not being as interesting as a bottle of milk.

These guys were filming a news article over the road from Russell Square Tube Station - we think it was relating to the London bombings from a couple of years ago.

There was a demo protesting about Turkish Prisoners of War marching along The Strand. We didnt catch much of it though as we were only crossing over the road quickly in front of them.

Work...
Hi Steven - yip, Alan has been working in Knutsford for the past 7 months. I'm obviously not working, but wouldn't go as far as saying I'm bumming around, esp at 4am for Beebop's feeds! Hope you are well, Shaz. x

Blogging only on the UK?
Please please please keep blogging. I'm doing most of my blogging from around Japan (where I live at the moment) but your domestic trips are still overseas adventures to someone else. Besides, I'm going to be in England and Scotland in a couple of months so it's interesting reading for me ;-) Jo Trouble p.s. congrats on the baby
