Well as you will see from my intro i'm just about to set off on a round the world trip. Originally the trip was for 12 months, but hey life changes and I'm now going to cram it into 4.5mths. One good thing about it though, means I don't have to work at all on the trip.
So first stop Bangkok. I'd be lying to you peeps if I told you I wasn't absolutely terrified, don't get me wrong, I'm excited as hell too, but you see I've been planing this trip for almost 12 months and then 3 weeks ago my life changed and I'm now travelling alone, which wasn't part of the plan. Hey I'm a big girl now, (no matter what you say Dad) and I can do this on my own. So thats where I'm at, Monday I set off, oh did I mention i'm terrified of flying too....ha ha ha it just gets better! God help the air stewards with me flying solo on their flight. If your reading this and flying BA to Bangkok next monday at 11pm from Heathrow, I'd change flights, cos I'll be driving them mad.
But never mind the flying, how the hell are you supposed to pack for 4.5 months when all you have is a rucksack...its luducrous, but I'll get there. I'm reckoning as long as I've got my jeans, bikini and my GHD's I'll be sorted. I'll let you know how I get on with that later in the week. I'm reckoning 4-5 attempt before I get it all in, then I have to make sure I don't topple over, you see I'm only 5ft 4. Then I guess thats me, a turtle for he next few months with all my worldly possessions on my back.

awesome awesom awesome adventure. and I can relate to it as well. I had planned all the trips with my girlfriend and to my absolute shocked self... blam I'm single. although I'm not traveling alone... nor am I realy traveling, but, I want to so bad... I just prefer some good company.
