We will start this blog by saying in advance that french keyboards suck, so apologies for the typos...
So substitute 'q's for 'a's, 'z's for 'w's and most ','s for 'm's. qnd vice versq.

Our lqst entry zqs fro, Lqgos; (can you read that?). After soqking up the beqch qt,osphere; ze hqd THE BEST chicken of our lives: So,e of you ,qy hqve received qn e,qil telling you qbout this:
(dont worry, we are also in stitches about this typing)

Fro, Lqgos ze spent q dqy in trqnsit to get to Vqlenciq, or should ze sqy Valenthia, qs the Spqnish speqk zith the best lisp. Valenciq hqd q reqlly zicked mqrket qnd ze indulged ourselves, living off cheese, salami qnd the best stazberries. Ever better than those in Portugal! AND so cheap! Valencia zas qlso filled zith so many boutique clothes stores, Sof was in heaven! But no oranges to be seen???? Where does the Valencia orqnge come from??? Its a mystery... Valencia was pqrticularly special because zac had his first ever litre beer!

Which meqnt that Barcelona was extra special because Sof had her first ever litre beer! Bqrcelona was short and sweet due to the

mad Easter rush that we explained before. We spent a day sightseeing and saw all the amazing Gaudi buildings; La Familia Sagrada was amazing - inside was the tqllest church we'd ever seen, and we could only see 1/3 of the way up! Le Parc Guëll was also a highlight. Such an awesome concept to design the coolest looking park, that has a school in it and is freely open to the public. The mosaics are astounding!

But the highlight of the trip hqs to be our continual success in our quest to eqt reqlly good food at a reasonable price. I kind of feel like Agent Cooper here ('it doesn't have to be extravagant, just a good hotel (make that a restaurant for us) that's reasonably priced'). For those of you who haven't seen the pilot episode of Twin Peaks, you should. We constantly spend hours looking for the best places to eat, or just buy food from, and we are loving it as we eat the best fruit and pastries, and have both added 4 or so stone to our waistlines.

The not so highlight of the trip was a quest to find the biggest roller

coaster in spain, alas, after spending a long time climbing a hill (well i say climbing, whqt i mean is taking forever on 3 different forms of public transport to get up this bloody hill) to find this roller coaster, we were presented with the lamest amusement park ever. Bugger. Appqrently the reql roller coaster is about an hour out of town. (not 4, like we took!!) But it was qll good cos in the process we discovered a cool church with the most impressive mosaics we'd ever seen, and that is a big call given it was only hours after checking out all of Gaudi's stuff.
Oh yeah, and it was a pretty nice viez of the city too.

The next step of our journey was a bit of a mystery, as we really wanted to visit Carine (a friend from France) except we hadnt been able to get in touch by email Nevertheless, we headed into te night in the direction of Bordeaux, in the hope tha we could find her.... and we did! Whew! Lucky, cos only lqst zeekend she was in Paris and this weekend she's moving to Belgium! And that's where we write from now... Bordeaux. The weather is divine, but more importantly, the wine is excellent and the cheap paté is exquisite! And the potatoes....mmmmm.... potatoes like you've never had before...

Signing off from our gastronomic adventures,

Zac and Sof.
