First Entry

This entry is by way of starting the blog, and explaining the plan.

Our one year trip starts on the 27th July 2007, and will take us from Brighton via Berlin, to Greece & Turkey, Southern India, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and a large part of South East Asia (as yet not definate on which countries)

We orignally did our gap year 18 years ago, so this is the second (mid life) gap year. The first gap year consisted of too much working and not enough travelling, so we hope to rectify that this time around!

We hope to keep this up to date as we travel and include lots of photos to make those at home suitably jealous.
