Hellloooooo!!
Having safely made the airport at 4.45am I made my way through security etc, boarded my plane, fastened my seatbelt....only to be told that the plane needed a spare part and we all had to disembark!! After hanging around at Heathrow for 4hrs finally we had a new plane and were off.....Unfortunately I missed the connection on to Quito, (there were 150 people going for connections) and since there´s only one flight a day, they have kindly put us up in a swanky-ish hotel (well its swanky to me seeing as i had a tv n a double bed n an en-suite....im not even expecting hot water in some places) so its actually worked rather well for me!!
Met some folks who were also on the plane, n spent the night chatting away-drinking away in the bar and some local bars (one of the men was working on the panama canal-how cool!! altho he was a bit old and a bit pervy)
Just up now to catch the same flight today, and hopefully this one will depart, and more importantly, hopefully my bags will end up at the other end!!! Must go, adios, xxx

Sounds to me like u sabotaged ur plane to get put up in a hotel for a night!
