Untitled Hey All,

Sorry it has been a bit since I last posted. Since my last posting of my crazy sky diving adventure I have remain feet firmly planted on the ground in Dunedin. I have spent the past two weeks actually doing the first assignments that I have had in New Zealand, which I suppose isn’t too bad as mid-semester break begins tomorrowJ. Thrown in the middle there was my 21st! That is right, as Erica put it, “ I am officially allowed to drink in a country I will not be in for the next three months”. Well I had quite the celebration. I had a really nice day and met up with my friend Jo from the camp I used to work at, who was down at Otago for her graduation from Otago’s Occupational Therapy program. It was so nice to catch up with her. Later in the day I went out to dinner with a bunch of good friends down here. We then came back for a black and white themed birthday party at my flat, which was generally all good… a few down moments but I suppose that is bound to happen when there is

lots of alcohol in your system right?? But overall the birthday was great. I got some really great presents and had a really nice time with friend. I did have my camera stolen though, which really stinks. I stuck around here for the weekend and had another massive night out with Jo, which was again really fun. I have basically spent this week doing work and preparing for my big “spring break” trip…which isn’t a spring break at all as it is fall here but we can’t seem to call it anything else. I also had to make the really hard decision not to come home to play with my team in Nationals. My Achilles is feeling much better but because I wasn’t able to run for so long, my body is just not where it needs to be for me to contribute to my team and not get injured…but for any of you rugby girls reading this I will be cheering my ass off for you here! I know you girls can do it!

Anyway that is pretty much all I have for this update…not as exciting as my last but I will definitely have a better update after my big trip.

Hope you are all well!

Miss you and love you!

All my love and kiwi kisses,

Em
