Night train
This was our living quaters Thursday morning and we set off for Thailand once again. We were collected from our hotel at 10am and taken to the main bus station. I had the worst seat on the bus; right at the back, looking straight down the isle luckily the driver wasn’t a lunatic. But the lad with the nodding head next to me was a nightmare every time I drifted so did he and woke me up with his head in my lap (not in a gay way) finally we arrived back in Vientiane, we were picked up by a tuk tuk and taken to the Thai border where we got a bus to the train station.
Which is where I realized I didn’t have any Thai bart and needed the toilet which they were charging 20 for, after an argument with the loo attendant I had to get a tuk tuk to the nearest cash point just to get money for the loo. After an agonizing wait the train arrived and we boarded, this wasn’t any normal train it had beds dinner delivered to you drinks on tap and very funny staff who just wanted to drink your beer. Which looking back isn’t all

He is actually real that good?
After a surprisingly awful sleep, we arrived at Bangkok, home sweet home that sweet smell of fish in the burning hot sun, the fried stick insects, fried grass hoppers fried cockroaches, the unbearable heat, the jam packed roads, the drug pushers, the pimps on every street let alone street corner. (Just like Aldershot) and for those that have been recently you will know what I mean when I say the sound of the wooden frogs.
This time in Bangkok we really struggled to get a room everywhere we tried was either booked or to be honest bay route. Eventually we found what we thought was a nice place until a few nights down the line, and we realized that one wall was at the back of the building therefore was in the sun all day long, and the room became like a green house I have never sweated so much ever, you would take a cold shower in the hope of cooling down and within seconds you were head to toe in sweat again, It was hell. One day we went to the weekend market this place was huge we didn’t get all the way around it before
Rocket
The shop Rocket in the middle of Bangkok it shut. They had some really good stuff everything from computers to puppies.
That night we had a few drinks and tried some bamboo cigars which I won’t recommend, then we got a tuk tuk to pat pong where all the action is. this was once again an eye opener I had forgotten just how seedy it was the last time we came, but very funny none the less. We went into one bar had a drink and watched a “performance” with bananas on the stage and they tried charging us so we got out quick. We spent a few nights here in Bangkok taking in some the sights. The bars, the local delicacies, the markets, some Thai boxing and the hair dressers you’ll be pleased to know dad.
Then we took a day trip to cachamaburi, went to the river kwai and walked over to Burma, the river was good sightseeing and quite interesting, and we fed elephants. But the real highlight of the day was without doubt tiger temple I never thought I would touch a tiger let alone hold one in my lap, and they are huge. The reason they are so tame is because they have
Battesee dogs home
This pouch was 3000 bart about 40 something pound been brought up as pets by a set of monks and therefore no no different, obviously you have to be quite careful. On our walk back to the bus we were surrounded by hogs, pigs, horses, goats, deer, rain deer, cows, water buffalo, and cocks, I didn’t know where to go they surrounded you, quite scared to be honest ha.
One more day spent in Bangkok and off to Koh Panang for the full moon party. again please comment on the blog
