Hi Folks
Well it's wonderful to be back in Auckland at our favourite hostel (Uenuku Lodge). Almost feels like returning 'home', a base in any case.
I DID MY SKY DIVE!
Thought I was going to die of fright just before I hung my legs out of the plane. But after slipping off the edge and feeling like my tummy was going to turn inside out, it was brill! You don't feel like you're falling that fast, whereas in reality I was going 230KM. Eek! And I fell a merry 12,000ft.
I have it all on DVD anyway, so those of you who fancy a viewing can watch the terror on my face (it was complete horror, now much to my amusement).
We hit our favourite club in Auckland for one of our last nights, The Carpark. But tonight it's a 'personal admin' eve, filled with laundry and packing for our flight tomorrow morning to Fiji. Not sure how much they have in the way of internet over there (Lonely Planet hasn't made it look abundant in technology) but I'm only there for a week, so no doubt I'll catch up with you soon. Once we've finished in Fiji we're
going to the Cook Islands, so I'm hoping to do plenty of snorkelling, exploring and tan topping!
And hey, what a place to celebrate Easter! Maybe no choccie eggs in a place like that though.....
Hope all's well. Take care.
Love Bex
