Took the train from Bangkok, 3rd class for an overpriced 100 Baht! Checked in at a guesthouse beside the river, was really nice. Then went and had a look at the Bridge Over the River Kwai, though all the info you get about this is confusing, as apparently the director got the name of the river wrong, so the Thais renamed the river to match! Anyway took a walk over was quite cool. Later we signed up go elephant riding and bathing. The riding was a little boring, sitting high up on a seat atop it, but the bathing was brilliant! Sat on the elephant itself, then got led down to a stinky river nearby, where things got a lot more interesting! The elephant went in under the water, taking us with us, then rollling side to side, and squirting us with it's trunk! Lot of fun.
