Edit Blog Post

Hello Everyone!
Im very very cross, I just spent ages writing a stupid blog thing and the computer crashed and didnt save any of it, grrr. humph. Anyway I shall try again and hope it works.

Alot has happened in the last 24 hours. Ive now been here a day. Yesterday eve I went for another night time wander (this city doesnt sleep, cafes close at 4 am) I ended up getting a thai massarge. Although It made me feel like a piece of dough as they pummled and streched me, afterward I felt fantastic! The lady was expaining to me that most Thais are married at the age of 15 and start having kids by 18! Its soo soo differnt here.
Anyway I fianlly went back to my room to find that I had to share a shower with two residental cockroaches- YUCK! haha.

Breakfast was intersting, A mixture of badly made english style things including popcorn for cerial, and some traditioal thai food, which im learning to trust. Then a crazy thing happened, I found out that I was sharing my hotel with a ledgend, a girl named Emma. I had heard about her though jib's mum but in the end we had never met up. And out of coinidence we had ended up in the same hotel just for one day! I met all her freinds from her tour, and we went out side to eat a second breakfast. ( I seem to be constnely hungy here). after that I headed down to kao sam road with one of her mates. It was rather intresting and amazing. Everywhere is so colourful and vibrant and the people are very freindly. Although it was sweltering hot, We made our way round the market, where I picked up many bargins, and even though everything is so cheap already, We felt inclinded to banter everything down to the most minimal amounts. You feel that you are spending so much as the money is in hundreds but really its not even a few pounds.

I had to say goodbye to my new found freinds as they left for the next part of there tour, but two stayed behind and I went to find food ( rice and stuff in a nice outdoorsy bar thing where people even come inside to see stuff!). The way of life here is so layed back. and the amount of food around makes it hard never to be hungy. I went for a second massarge at a diffent place where it was 100 bhat for an hour ( thats about one pound thirty).
As I walked around you become aware that there are millions of rabiefied starved cats dogs and rats which are just eveywhere. It has become a missinon not to get eaten as you walk down a back street. It is also fasinaiting to look into the houses which dont have back walls, just mosquito nets, where childern stay up til about 2 am watching tv. The cats here are soo evil. I am sitting curled up on my stool ( I am on the computer in a garden bar its lovely) so that the cat wont knaw at my ankles. Its so skiiny you can almost see its insideds and I do feel sorry for them but I prefer not to get rabies ( yes suz I have learned from them monkey in china). I cant belive that Im feeling hungry AGAiIN!. What I love its the fact that people eat when they are hungry not at set meal times so there is always deliouse food. I am also living off pineapple shakes which are so yummy.
Anyway I shall talk again soon as it gets so hot that its best to sit in the shade and the internet is cheap and eveywhere. I am trying to work out how to get my photos onto the computer, but im not too sure how. I have plugged it in but its not working. Sothey will have to wait.
Love from Kathaine xxxxx Oh PS Jibs I left your mums email at home can you email it to me or get her to read this. Thankyou
