We have been relaxing in Praia Do Forte for a couple of days now, and are flying to Iguaçu Falls in the morning. This place is a bit of a tourist trap, so we bought right into it and enjoyed being tourists rather than backpackers for a couple of days. Nice beach, nice restaurants, nice hotels, that’s about it though. None the less, the break was much needed, and all of our clothes are clean again after the trekking. Here we said goodbye to Nick and Jo, who had become our good friends in the past couple of weeks travelling together. They were flying over to Equador, but we hope to cross paths again somewhere in Peru in a month or so.

We did manage to fit in snorkelling, and saw some cool sea slugs and some very scary sea snakes. Nicole nearly had a panic attack and refused to get out of the water as that would have involved putting her feet down. We then ventured into the mountains on mountain bikes and were lucky enough to spot monkeys, giant frogs, and iguanas, along with tucans.

Great news today - Inside Looking Out has been nominated for Tenerife International Film Festival!! Hooray, great to see good things can happen while we are on holiday lounging about!!

The plan from here is to sleep in the airport tonight, as we have a very early check in, then after the falls we are going to hear for Buenos Aries on an overnight bus, so it is goodbye Brazil, and hello Big City.

Hope everyone is well, big congrats to Norm on the birth of Megan Amy, we are thinking of you all.

Nic and Cal
