Mountain againMountain againMountain again

Another shot of lionhead mountain, tilt your head and it makes a cool picture...
Well after my final tearful goodbyes (mainly me crying lol) I've finally started my trip. Thanks for taking me to the airport Rip and sorry for getting so emotional. I was weepy all throught security, which was kinda embarrasing really... ohwell. Did you hear what the stewards said? They said 'oh why is she crying, its only a holiday!' and they laughed!!! Mean people.
My long haul flight was really good actually. The plane was half empty so I got a whole aisle to myself plus the window, so I slept quite a bit. The turbulence kept waking me up, and it really is a horrible way to wake up, very disorientating. I think I shouted out Jesus Christ as I woke up at some point, after a big one made me hit my head against the arm rest. I am so glad I brought a pillow, planes and cars are infinately more comfortable with one.
Emma wrote me a lovely note which I read on the plane, which was the perfect place to read it,it made me smile the whole trip. Thanks Emma, I'm going tokeep that the whole trip.We will definately have our shoe time in Tokyo!! Also thanks Chris

In Nando's on the beach front
and Kate for coming out at such short norice, it was lovely seeing you guys and being ableto say goodbye.
Anyway my next flight was from Joburg to Cape Town and I slept the whole way there which was nice! And then I got the backpacker bus to Taigh's. It is so great seeing Taigh again, she is so lovely, she has mademe feelso welcome. We went shopping in the evening and I bought some shorts... quitemundane really. Then we went to the hostel where Taigh lived for 9months and metup with some of her friends. Weendedupseeing this Ska band and clubbing till 4am. Imanaged not to pass out (with the help of red bull) but was feeling very spaced with tiredness. Was also very surreal that a day ago I was at home then I'm in some South African club with people I've just met. I had a really good night though.
Today ismyonly full day in CapeTown so Taighs taking me round the city, I'm going to get my legs waxed because it is tres cheap there. And we aregoing to a beach where all the beautiful people hang out. not that that is hard,South Africans are such beautiful

people. Also Capetown is so safe compared to durban or Joburg, it is nice to be able to walk the streets without a huge danger of attack. Although don't worry,I'm still being careful with safety etc.
Anyway I gotta go out now, will put up somepictures later
Love you all!!

Woolworths

Some people didn't believe me,but woolworths in SA is just like Marks and Sparks in the UK. Same lgo, same run of the mill clothes and same own brand food. Very strange.
