Bonjour tout le monde et desolée, mais je vais continuer d'écrire en anglais.
This has already been quite a busy trip and I'm not sure what to start with. We landed in Paris on Tuesday and right away Dad wanted to walk along the Seine, and we ended up circling the Sorbonne and wandering around the Jardin du Luxembourg. Wednesday was just as busy with an impromptu trip to the Musée d'Orsay and a walk through Montmartre. The high light of the museum was the pastels by Roden in room 40. Inspired by dreams and beautiful, most had cloudlike elements that allow the observer to see almost anything they can imagine in certain parts of the drawing. It's difficult to explain, like most dreams.
It has been somewhat of a shock to go so quickly from Cambodia to Boise to Paris, but I think I'm adjusting okay. I have not been feeling as at home as I had hoped upon returning to France. I just have to remind myself that I never feel at home in cities and as soon as I get pack to Drome/ Ardèche I'll feel better. It is nice to speak French again, though with my

We actually sat down for a bit today, partly because Mom is getting blisters. The parks here are the best part of the city.
parents here I end up speaking more English than I would have thought possible. They are working hard on the French and I'm feeling less and less like a mother duck looking over my shoulder every thirty seconds to make sure they didn't wander off. I was quite worried about losing them the first couple of days. Traveling with three people is much harder than with two. It's just that much harder to come to a consensus on what to do and obviously not everybody is completely satisfied with the decision every time. So far we're doing quite well though.
This will have to be a short entry because the keyboard is driving me crazy. I had forgotten that the letters are in different places here.

After discovering the Centre Pompidou is closed in the morning, Dad and I wandered into a chapelle with the most beautiful stained glass I've ever seen.
